Vampire Walking Tour of San Francisco
What better way to spend Halloween in San Francisco then take part in the two hour Vampire Walking Tour? Guide Mina Harker will lead guests through the dark side of Nob Hill, an area of the city that was once inhabited by prospectors searching for gold. Throughout the tour, the tour will make stops at some of the city's most famous landmarks such as Grace Cathedral, Huntington Park and the Mark Hopkins Hotel. With each stop along the tour, participants are given the history of each site and the mysteries that have surrounded them.
If there is one person that knows about the dark side of San Francisco and all of the creepy, crawly things that go on in the city, it should be Harker, she claims to have lived in the city for over 100 years and was banished to the city by none other than Dracula himself.
Believers and non-believers are both encouraged to attend the tour and are more than welcome to dress up and take part in some of the festivities.
No matter if you believe the stories and legends or are just out to check out some of San Francisco's most historic neighborhoods, one thing is for sure, keep an open mind to have a good time and protect your neck from those pesky bats.
