The Fillmore Auditorium
1805 Geary Blvd
San Francisco, CA 94115

During the 1960's the Fillmore was one of the hottest clubs in San Francisco. It had the ability to bring in musical groups such as Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead and other legends. Following a decline in popularity during the 1980's, the club has now reclaimed its birthright as one of San Francisco's hottest clubs.
The club is fairly spacious which is perfect for those that like to stand around while checking out the scene or for those that prefer a little bit of elbow room while they boogey on down. A few cocktail tables are located in the upstairs and are the perfect place for those that want to get a little more intimate in the dimly lit club that is accented by heavy curtains, candelabras and red tones.
For those that come to the club to check out the latest group and wind up at the back of the club or in the upstairs area, have no fear as the views are pretty good no matter where you are, just be sure to bring your ear plugs if you wind up near the speakers.
For the first timers, be sure to check out the rock posters that are plastered over the walls and feel free to grab an apple from the barrel located in the foyer, its been a tradition since the opening of the club.
