Ruby Skye
420 Mason St.
San Francisco, CA 94102

For those looking for one of the top nightclubs around and a never ending bass line, Ruby Skye is just the place that you are looking for.
This Victorian style club has some historical value to it as it was previously the Stage Door Theatre. Today it is home to one of San Francisco's most popular night clubs.
With cutting edge lighting and sound system, two levels , four rooms and VIP areas, it is easy to see why Ruby Skye is a favorite for many club goers. Guests can kick back in a private lounge known as the Jungle Room, here they can enjoy hanging out with friends while sipping cognac in an old world style setting.
If lounging around and watching the scenery isn't you thing, then try heading out to the dance floor where DJ's spin out a mix of house, hi-hop and R&B. Most of the action on the dance floor can be found in the in the orchestra area of the theater. It is presided over by the DJ (on stage), his club kid friends (also on stage) and four costumed go-go dancers.
For those seeking a little bit more of a mellow vibe, there is an upstairs VIP area where people hang from their perch and check out the dance floor. A cigar lounge in back has pool tables and more mellow music.
The down side of the club? Ruby Skye's lines and lack of seating can make a girl regret her shoe choice
