Rickshaw Stop
155 Fell St
San Francisco, CA 94102

Sometimes looks can be deceiving. That is why it's so important not to let the rickshaw drivers outside the Rickshaw fool you into believing that this is your typical dive bar. Just be sure to look close for the understated entrance otherwise you might just miss it.
Opened in 2004 the club continues to grow into its own. Depending on the night of the week, the crowd and atmosphere is likely to change. Come on one night and you will likely see Goth kids all decked out in pleather, come the very next night and you might be hanging out with down town professionals.
The inside of the club has proven to be a mish mash of styles. The seating resembles something you might find in IKEA while the marble bar was brought over from the Old Conservatory of Music. There is plenty of room for those that want to head out to the dance floor and shake their money maker. The loft area is the perfect spot for those that want to do a little inner soul searching while enjoying a glass of super-cheap beer.
Much like the furniture, the food at the bar goes along way to creating the perfect vibe. The food won't break the bank, either. You can get your choice of corn dogs, warm soba noodles or tortellini skewers.
For those that don't judge a book by its cover, the Rickshaw Stop is the place for you.
