111 Minna Gallery
111 Minna St
San Francisco, CA 94105
For those that are getting tired of the same old nightclub and bar, 111 Minna Gallery offers an innovative solution.
The small gallery has become known as a popular hot spot for club goers when they want to get a drink, head out to the dance floor or just want to hang out with a few good friends while taking in some of the latest art pieces. The owners of the gallery have decided to focus their eye on pieces that have the rare combination of slickness and style, but also manage to have a difficulty level to them. While the gallery does lean toward group showings that have cohesive themes, it also does single artists showings. Just a word of warning, try not to spill the Bacardi on the $5,000 sculpture otherwise you might be breaking out your Visa to pay for your faux paux.
In a club that features a lively crowd and live DJ spinning out hits, entertainment is just as important as the art hanging on the walls. In addition to live music and dancing, the club also features performance art and films for guests viewing. The small tables are perfect for those that want to snuggle up and enjoy the scenes of the gallery.
For those that want to take the time to get a closer look and enjoy the art without having to worry about the drunken guy shouting his favorite Linkin Park lyrics, try checking out the gallery during the day.
