If views are what you are most concerned with when you stay in San Francisco, then the Hotel Griffin has got to be your hotel of choice. Located in the middle of the Financial District, the hotel offers some of the best views of Bay and Treasure Island to go along with the Bay Bridge.

Following a $10 million dollar facelift in 1989, the Hotel Griffon has become one of the elite hotels in San Francisco.Take one step in the hotel's lobby and you will come face to face with the original 1906 white washed brick walls, marble flooring, mahogany bookcases and a series of black and white framed Golden Gate Park photographs.

Guestrooms come equipped with high speed Internet access, coffee makers, Aveda bath products to keep your skin young and in room massages to help relieve some of that pen up stress. The hotel also features car service to the downtown area for those that in town for business meetings as well as access to the near by fitness center for those that want to keep looking their best at all times. The one thing the hotel does not offer is a smoking area. So those of you that are dying to light up, you may want to think about trying that somewhere else.

For those that in town to take in some of the local scenery, you can't go wrong by making the Hotel Griffon or hotel of choice. Just be sure to pay a little extra in order to get a bay-view room. The room overlooks the Bay Bridge and the view is well worth the couple of extra dollars.
