145 Jefferson St.
San Francisco, CA
For more than 40 years people have been flocking to the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf in hopes of getting an up close and personal look at their favorite celebrity replicas.
With more than 200 wax figures on display patrons will have the chance to see a variety of historical figures, each one in a custom setting that lends itself to the overall impact of the exhibit. Imagine coming eye to eye with a replica of daVinci's "The Last Supper" or find yourself searching for artifacts and gold as you find yourself in King Tut's tomb.
For those that are true art fans, you can get up close and personal with wax figures of some of the most influential artists such as Norman Rockwell or Van Gogh. The 1000,000 square foot facility also feature wax figures of celebrities in the movie, sports or political world. The exhibits also pay tribute to world figures such as the Royal Family, the Pope and other political figures.
If you have ever wondered what Michael Jordan or Jack Nicholson looked like up close, the San Francisco Wax Museum is the perfect place for you to feel like you can check out all the people that you never though you would meet, even if they are made of wax.
