Vallejo, CA
For the thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie, Six Flags Marine World is the perfect place to your roller coaster fix.
In addition to featuring the usual Six Flags Roller coaster, the theme park actually merges three parks into one as it also includes an Oceanarium and a wildlife park.
Six Flags Marine World has a variety of nail biting experiences including Medusa and Velocity. Medusa has claimed the title of most extreme roller coaster in the area as it boasts seven inversions. Velocity doesn't take a back seat to Medusa as Velocity is the only spiraling impulse coaster in the world.
Have no worries, there is plenty of action for the youngest of guests. Marine World features Looney Toons Seaport. Kids can ride the Road Runner Express or Bounce and Pounce with Sylvester and Tweety.
Once you get done with the rides, you can spend some time taking in the marine themed shows. Guests can check out shows that feature dolphins, whales and seals. Just because many of the shows feature ocean life, you shouldn't be surprised to see an elephant or tiger make a surprise appearance. The Animal Adventures give guests the chance to get up close and personal with exotic animals such as lorikeets and giraffes.
No matter if you are looking to get your heart racing by taking on a couple of roller coaster or looking to entertain the kiddies for a few hours, Six Flags Marine World offers up a day of fun for all ages.
