Pacific Heights

For those looking to see how the rich and famous live in San Francisco, Pacific Heights is the perfect place to go.
With its panoramic views of the Bay Bridge and Victorian mansions, the neighborhood has become a favorite spot for those visiting San Francisco that are looking to do a little shopping in the eclectic and quaint shops.
Bordered by Presdio/Van Ness Avenues and Pine/Vallejo street, Pacific Heights first became popular in the late 1800's after the construction of a cable car line made the area easily accessible.
While the majority of houses are still centered around Fillmore Street, the majority of action takes place downtown where the shopping is geared towards women's clothing and luxury items. The streets are decorated with shops specializing in gift shops, consignment stores and bath and body shops. For those that are looking to break the bank for a pair of shoes, feel free to settle in at a sidewalk cafè and watch the parade of shopper go by.
With its variety of shops, breathtaking views, and perfectly cared for streets, it's easy to see why Pacific Heights has become a favorite summer time spot. Spend the day strolling along the streets while sipping coffee or head down to the Bay for an afternoon of sailing. Several four star restaurants make it well worth staying long after the sun sets.
No matter if you are looking to just get out of the city are just want to check out some multi million dollars houses and do some shopping, Pacific Heights is one neighborhood that you can't afford to miss.
