Jelly beans have become one of the favorite treats for kids and adults alike and when it comes to jelly beans there is one name that is above the rest, Jelly Belly. Now you can get an up close and personal look as to how the tasty treats are made.
During your 40 minute tour you will be able to learn some of the secrets that are behind the 150 different types of taste treats. Guests will learn how the jelly bean is created and why it takes more than a week to make a single bean. Of course the tour isn't just all about jelly beans, you can also check out how taffy, chocolates and gummi critters are made. During the weekend the tour takes a little bit of a twist as the candy makers are at home, there company has set up videos that depict each step of the candy making process.
Once you make your way back to the Visitor Center you can treat your sweet tooth to a little treat. Step up to the Sampling Bar and try the hand dipped chocolates, jelly beans and other seasonal sweets.
For those that are looking for something a little bit more nutritious, try heading over to the Visitor Center Cafè. Order up a Jelly Belly shaped pizza or hamburger. There is also an outdoor patio area and picnic area where you can enjoy the fresh air.
