Many of the kid friendly museums cater to kids 10 and over, the Habitot Children's Museum is a little bit out of the norm as it is designed for children six years old and younger.
As is the case with most young children, they like to experience things with their hands. The founders of the museum have taken that into account as the museum focuses on hand-on learning in a safe environment. Kids will get the chance to experience the world of art and culture through exhibits that fit perfectly into their small hands. To make things better, the museum is set up so that the adults can have as much fun as the kids as they can experience new things through the eyes of their children.
Of course it's not just all about the exhibits that are on permanent display, the museum also features special programs that come with multicultural performances and programs such as a hands-on art studio.
The museum also has shown a dedication to exposing children to different cultures. Children are invited to join classes that focus on early language skills as well as cooking classes that will open children up to an entire world of taste treats.
With such a strong dedication to the education of children, it's easy to why the Habitot Children's Museum has become one of the most popular attractions in the Bay area.
