With more than 30 shops, restaurants and entertainment, it's easy to see why the Anchorage Shopping Center at Fisherman's Wharf attracts thousands of visitors.
For the shopper. The Anchorage has shops that cater to everybody. Whether you are looking for the fine wine or cable car souvenir, the shops has what you need. The Anchorage also offers a wide array of restaurants. China Station and Fisherman's Pizzeria is the perfect place for those that are craving a quick bite to eat. Cafè Espresso is great for those early morning wake me-ups while Kent's Ice Cream satisfies that sugar tooth.
Looking to take a break from the shopping and wanting to give your little tootsies a rest? The take a seat in the courtyard and watch as some of San Diego's finest musicians and street performers delight the crowds. Best of all, the performances are free although donations are always appreciated. To make things even better, the Anchorage is home to several special events each year. There may be no better to place to check out the fireworks as they explode over the San Francisco Bay during 4th of July. During October, hundreds of people flock to the roof of the Anchorage Garage to great the perfect view of the Blue Angel Bash. Both of these attractions are only enhanced when you factor live music into the equation.
For those looking to spend a relaxing day out in the sun checking out some truly unique shops and show, then take a trip down to Fisherman's Wharf and head on over to the Anchorage Shopping Center.
